The plow side plate is a key component installed on the side of the plowshare and plow wall, and its main functions include:

1、Balancing Lateral Pressure: During tillage, the soil is lifted and turned by the plowshare, generating enormous lateral pressure. The plowside plates, through their side contact with the furrow walls, effectively resist and balance this pressure, ensuring stable plow movement and preventing lateral swaying.

2、Stable tillage depth: It works together with the plowshare to support the plow body, helping to maintain a constant and uniform tillage depth.

3、Guiding the plow body forward: As a guide device for the plow body in the furrows, it ensures that the plow travels in a straight line, the tilling is straight, and avoids over-tillage or missed tillage.

4、Protecting the main plow body: As a wear part, it protects the more expensive plowshare and plowshare. When it wears out, only the plowshare side plate needs to be replaced, which is economical and convenient.

It has a long, rectangular, plate-like structure with a mounting surface on one side that conforms to the curved surface of the plowshare.

The bottom front end is typically designed with a replaceable plowshare heel, which is the point of most severe wear and can be replaced individually to further reduce costs.
