Lemken 3374388 Shovel Headed,Deep ploughing, loosening the soil, 30MnB5 material plough head tip

Short Description:

  • The plow point (also known as the plow blade) is the core working component at the very front of the plow tool. It is usually in the shape of a triangular wedge and is made of high-hardness metal materials.
  • The sharp cutting part. It is usually forged from 65 manganese spring steel, which is hard and highly wear-resistant, and can withstand continuous operation for 2000 hours per year.
  • The basic structure of the plow point
  • Plow blade: Sharp at the front end, used for breaking the soil
  • Plow wall: Curved surface design, used for turning the soil

Core functions and structural features:
Efficient tillage: The blade tip of the moldboard plow adopts a pointed cone design, which can penetrate compacted soil and reduce tillage resistance. It is combined with the plow body to achieve the flipping and crushing of soil lumps. The vertical inclined insertion structure (such as the hydraulic tilting plow) further optimizes the angle of penetration into the soil, enhancing the deep tillage effect.

Wear-resistant design: Mainstream products are made of 30MnB5 steel or alloy steel. Through heat treatment processes, their hardness and toughness are enhanced. Some high-end models (such as the Recken plow point) use European forging technology to extend their service life.

Boron steel forging: Through hot stamping and forging processes, the hardness reaches 45-50 HRC. Its wear resistance is significantly superior to that of ordinary carbon steel.
