The auxiliary plate uses high-quality 60Si2Mn spring steel as the base material. This material has excellent elastic limit and fatigue resistance, and can withstand the huge soil impact loads during field operations. The product undergoes an overall heat treatment process, with the surface hardness controlled between HRC 43-49, ensuring sufficient wear resistance to resist long-term abrasion from sand and gravel in the soil, while maintaining good toughness to prevent brittle fracture when encountering hard obstacles (such as tree roots and rocks).
The 073004 auxiliary plate is designed for close contact with the main plowshare and is typically installed on the side or bottom of the plow assembly. Its main functions include:
Assisting in soil turning: Assisting the main plowshare in breaking up and turning over soil clods, improving coverage.
Depth limiting and stabilization: As part of the depth limiting device, it controls the tillage depth, preventing lateral swaying of the main plow body due to uneven stress and ensuring consistent tillage depth.
Extended lifespan: As a sacrificial protective component, it prioritizes wear resistance, effectively protecting core components such as the plowshare and plowshare, reducing overall maintenance costs.
The accessories feature a standardized bolt hole design, with each piece weighing approximately 1.5 kg, facilitating quick replacement in the field. During installation, ensure the tightening torque meets the original manufacturer's requirements to avoid abnormal wear due to excessive clearance. It is recommended to check the wear of the auxiliary plate before and after daily tillage. When the wear exceeds one-third of the original thickness, it should be replaced promptly to ensure the quality of the implement's operation.
