Dryland knives, also known as rotary tillage knives or weeding knives, are essential core operating accessories in modern agricultural machinery. This product is designed specifically for micro tillage machines, hand-held tractors, and field management machines. It is mainly used in dry, compacted, and rocky hard land as well as overgrown wasteland. Dryland operation: For the compacted and hard loess or sandy loam soils in the arid areas of northern and western China, the dryland cutter can effectively break down soil blocks, break through the plow bottom layer, and enhance soil permeability and water storage capacity.
Wasteland cultivation: For barren land with overgrown weeds and intertwined shrub roots, its powerful cutting ability can easily cut off grass roots and vines, avoiding entanglement and blockage, and improving the efficiency of land cultivation.
Dryland knives are usually arranged in a "human" or "pin" shape, with unique bending angles and curved arc designs to ensure a more scientific entry angle and better soil crushing effect. When rotating at high speed, the blade can generate strong cutting force, lifting, breaking, and throwing the soil backwards from the bottom of the soil layer. Its wider blade and greater depth of penetration into the soil can easily cut off weed roots, crop residues, and insect eggs lurking in shallow layers of the surface, achieving multiple effects such as stubble removal, weeding, soil loosening, and leveling.
The dry land knife is made of high-strength 60 # silicon manganese steel or 65Mn spring steel through integral stamping, which is different from ordinary steel in that it has extremely high hardness and super wear resistance. The blade undergoes overall heat treatment and carburizing forging process, and the cutting edge is specially quenched to make the blade rigid and resilient. When encountering hard objects or stones, it can cut soil like mud in soft soil and bend without breaking when encountering obstacles on hard soil, effectively extending the service life of the tool by more than 50% compared to ordinary blades.
